The 2016 Brass Expo was in the luxury setting these models deserve. With outstanding Importer support, that has not been seen in many years, we are confident this will be a landmark event every year. In the past, most train shows (including brass train shows) have focused on the 'trains on tables' idea, basically what you can buy sometimes in a 'flea market' environment. However, we are well aware that with so many online choices and a large selection of models available, this may no longer create enough of a motive to attend a show. For this reason, the 2016 Brass Expo focused more on the 'experience', learning about brass, and having a chance to see models in person that you likely have only heard about in the past. We included many rare hand-built models and some one-of-a-kind historical brass models in this awesome venue.
The 2016 Brass Expo featured 'The Brass Museum,' something that we feel was worth the price of admission in and of itself! Furthermore, attendees had an opportunity to view and purchase from a broad spectrum of models that would be difficult to even find in any other setting. Not only was there a wide range of all scales of brass models, we had on hand several Live Steam models, a MINT Gauge One Precision Scale Co. 'Golden Spike ' set, and even a Fine Art Models 'Titanic ' complete with special display case. These are just a few of the many sumptuous items those who attended could 'feast their eyes' on!
In collaboration with the 2016 Brass Expo, many of the Importers and Builders used this event to make special announcements of models and products that are set to be released in the very near future. Many were among the first to learn of new brass model announcements and other items related to the industry.
BRASS MODEL TRAINS JUST GOT BIGGER!
No matter if it is viewing models you've always wanted to see in person, finding an elusive acquisition that you have been searching for, this is it. The 2016 Parlor Car Evening Event offered mingling with some of the Importers and fellow-minded collectors from all over the world in a luxury setting all while enjoying hors d'oeuvres and sipping on your favorite cocktail while being serenaded by a live classical pianist...attendees undoubtedly agreed this was a watershed moment for brass model trains!
